Charles Eaton

Artist Statement:

I thoroughly enjoy losing myself in the process of painting. I look for every opportunity to paint outdoors, and am thankful for the beauty of the four seasons.

Biography:

Charles Eaton came into his own as a fine artist after a lifetime in the corporate world. He took to oil paints quite readily, and has studied with well-known plein air artists such as Kevin Macpherson, Ray Roberts, and Joseph McGurl.

He recently has been accepted to the 67th Annual Juried Exhibition at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay, WI, and the Northern Exposure juried exhibit of Upper Peninsula artists at the Bonifas Arts Center in Escanaba, MI. He also has had meritorious submissions to the Richeson 75 Landscape competition.

He presently belongs to the following organizations:

              -Oil Painters of America

              -Wisconsin Plein Air Painters Association

              -Waters Edge Artists

During 2011, he participated in the following events:

              -Door County Plein Air Festival Quick Paint
